Wooden bowls

A cabinet maker based in Oxfordshire. Tom’s work is modern and functional, but there is also a subtly lightness to his work, and the finish is very soft. 

Tom is influenced by the woodlands where he grew up, and by his father who is also a cabinet maker. As a youngster he developed his instinct for the working with wood, then studied at the Lyme Regis boat academy, where he honed his craft.

Conscious as he is of the value of his material as a resource, Tom tries not to waste anything when he works, and therefore the scale can vary greatly from larger furniture pieces to fine wooden plates and practical chopping boards.
